Fred and I enjoy the once a month Tuesday Poetry and Open Mic. Wonderful poets and talent! At the same time, during break, WE peruse the books and I have found quite a bit of gems to add to my library at home!
Great little book store that takes in your old books and gives you credit towards new books. Owner is very knowledgeable and will try to get anything you ask for. Good selection of antique books as well.
Eveyday I enter I feel so welcome. Walt is absolutely polite and accommodating. The books are so neatly stacked. It's somewhere I could get lost in for hours and thought it minutes. I highly recommend this gem of a place not only for the books but the atmosphere.
Love this bookstore! Very quaint and owner is very friendly and helpful. Have coffee and baked goods at the store. They hold a variety of events each month. Great asset to Montgomery, NY!
