Food was good, but not amazing compared to what I'm used to living in Schenectady, NY - one of the Italian food capitals of the Northeast. Waitress was tremendously nice, but forgot to order my brother's gluten-free meal. Then made up for it with a free desert, but then forgot that. Was super busy, so I sorta get it, but not twice. There was 6 of us and the whole meal took a little over 2 hours with long periods of waiting.
Waitresses are Always super Friendly and Great with our kids... The owners make their rounds and try to really get to know their customers by first name. Come in at Christmas and you might just find your name on a Christmas Stocking handing on the wall. Food has always been the Best
Very good classic Italian restaurant. The bread was a little sub par to me but that would be my only complaint.

Superb food with an emphasis on Italian. Our family have been enjoying Carmela's for 30 years. When our family comes to visit, one of the treats is to have pizza there. The new owners have worked very hard to upgrade the interior. It is beautiful and a great dining experience.
The bread was hot and delicious, my seafood stuffed portabella was great, but the shrimp and scallop ravioli seemed to lack much seafood. That said, I'd definitely give another try when it's not so busy.
